At Beaver Green we expect all children from Year R to 6 to wear the correct uniform.  The school uniform is optional for our children in the Nursery.  We believe this promotes a feeling of 'belonging' and a sense of community.  All children are welcome and are part of our school family.

Uniform Policy

White shirt or polo shirt

Royal blue jumper or cardigan (these can be purchased from the school office with our logo embroidered on)

Grey or black tailored skirt, pinafore or trousers in the winter months

Blue and white checked dress or grey or black formal shorts in the summer months

Plain black shoes with a low (less than 3cm) heel

Boots or trainers may be worn to and from school but children must change into school shoes once inside the school building.

White, grey, black or blue socks/tights


All pupils must have a named P.E kit in school at all times.

P.E kit consists of:  a house-colour T-shirt, royal blue shorts, and blue or black plimsolls or trainers.  A dark colour tracksuit can be worn in the winter months for outside P.E.  

P.E kit items can be purchased from the school office.


Hair shoulder length or longer is be tied back

No makeup or nail varnish is to be worn

Children are permitted to wear a pair of small stud earrings and a watch only.  All jewellery is to be removed for P.E. lessons for health and safety reasons.

Please note the beginning of summer holidays is the best time to have your child’s ear pierced.


Please note that all uniform should be named.
