Our focus for computing this term has been to: select, use and combine a variety of software (including Internet services) on a range of digital devices to design and create a range of programs, systems and content that accomplish given goals, including collecting, analysing, evaluating and presenting data and information.
The children in Year 5 have been getting to grips with how to use a Crumble controller to program lights, motors and buttons.
What is a Crumble controller?
A Crumble is a very low-cost electronics controller that connects to a computer using a USB cable. You can attach components like LEDs, buttons, and motors to the Crumble using crocodile leads, and you can program your Crumble using free software.
