Stone Age World

Year 3 had an amazing day living in the Stone Age world! In our topic we have been looking at the lives of the Stone Age people and what life was like back then so we were so excited that Living History could host a Stone Age themed day for the children. 

The children got the opportunity to learn about how the Stone Age was first discovered by archaeologists and were able to get involved in a range of Stone Age activities such as : arrow head knapping, clay pot making, examining Stone Age artefacts, role-playing at Stonehenge, making axes and drilling into flint stones. 

The children had so much fun learning more about the Stone Age and it was a good day had by all!
