PIZZA Time!

Victor the manager talked through each step with us. First we had to pinch the edge of our pizza dough, we were then given the tomato sauce which we spread around our pizza in circles. Lastly, we were given cheese which we had to spread around the pizza.

The pizzas went downstairs to be cooked and during this time Victor gave us some information about the ingredients found in pizza. He told us that the white of the dough, red of the sauce and green of the herbs are the same colours as the Italian flag.
We had the opportunity to try some toppings and some children tried mushrooms, basil, olives and onion. Once the pizzas were cooked we brought them home in boxes to enjoy at home!
