Opal Play

At Beaver Green we are on a journey to transform our children’s playtimes. OPAL is an award-winning school improvement programme aimed at improving the quality of play opportunities. ‘Research shows that children's mental and physical health is getting worse and that great play can make it better.’ (OPAL Website). Using the OPAL approach, we have already seen a significant and positive change in the behaviour and well-being of our pupils. The children LOVE playtime!
