Nursery
We are part of Beaver Green Primary School and provide Nursery spaces for children from 2 years of age.
We value your child developing a sense of belonging here at the Nursery and learning to be independent which will promote their self-confidence and give a go attitude with new experiences. We will provide opportunities for your child to contribute and ensure they feel valued. We will also encourage your child to learn with and alongside others. Most importantly we want your child to learn through active exploration of the environment and we will support them with developing the knowledge, skills and understanding to do this.
We are a very well-resourced Nursery and have a beautiful natural outside space. During child initiated time, the children will have plenty of opportunities to explore and engage in activities both inside and outside. These activities will support and promote their development in relation to the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
Your child will be assigned to a key teacher who will support your child, especially with the settling in process. They will also document your child’s learning during their time here and plan for next steps.
We are open term time only, the same as the Primary school.
We have two different session patterns. We will try to meet your preference but we may need to allocate session times if too many parents request the same times. They are:
-
Morning session - 8:45am - 11:45am
-
Afternoon session 12.15pm - 3pm
We are able to offer sessions beyond this pattern, dependent on available spaces.
We also have a Facebook page just for our Nursery Parents, where we post pictures of our activities, updates and news. Click Here to go to our page!
