About Us
We are situated in the grounds of Beaver Green Primary School. We have two rooms in our Nursery, a 2 year old room and a 3 and 4 year old room.
In our 2 year old room we offer Free for 2 funded spaces, as well as fee paying spaces. In our 3 and 4 year old room we offer the 15 free childcare hours as well as 30 hours spaces.
Our Early Years provision was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2017 and we welcome you to come and visit us to see why.
The Nursery is open term time only, in line with the school term dates. We are open 08:45am - 3.15pm everyday and we offer a variety of sessions depending on which room your child attends.
We value your child developing a sense of belonging here at Nursery and learning to be independent which will promote their self-confidence and ‘give it a go’ attitude with new experiences. We will provide opportunities for your child to contribute and ensure they feel valued. We will also encourage your child to learn with and alongside others. Most importantly we want your child to learn through active exploration of the environment and we will support them with developing the knowledge, skills and understanding to do this.
We are a very well-resourced Nursery and have a beautiful natural outside space. During child initiated time, the children will have plenty of opportunities to explore and engage in activities both inside and outside. These activities will support and promote their development in relation to the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
Your child will be assigned to a key person who will support your child, especially with the settling in process. They will also document your child’s learning during their time here and plan for next steps.
